HOW TO MAKE SLUSH AT HOME

  • Easy to use

    Pour your prepared liquid into the top lid of the container.

    The consistency must be as smooth as possible. Check the liquid settles between the Minimum and Max levels.

  • One touch pour

    Easy to assemble and simple to pour from the machine.

  • Easy to clean

    The machine has its own cleaning programme. Simply rinse the container and replace after each recipe. Fill with clean water and let the cycle run.

    If it is extra dirty, use soap, but remember to rinse it well before you start the cleaning cycle.

  • Pre-chill for best results

    Start cold: chilling your liquids before pouring them in, speeds up the freezing process and gives a smoother consistency.

    Chill your glasses too. Serving your slush in pre-chilled glasses helps keep it perfectly icy from first sip to last.

  • Sweetness makes it work

    Your mixture needs at least 6% sugar to freeze correctly. Not enough sugar = no slush.

  • Texture control

    Use the Thickness Control to fine-tune your slush texture – from soft and smooth to extra icy.

  • No solids, no heat

    Pre-prepare a smooth and cool consistency for the best performance. Don’t add hot liquids, ice, fruit chunks, ice cream, or frozen fruit.

Which sugar substitutes can I use? 

Common sugar substitutes include: aspartame, monk fruit extract, saccharin, sucralose, stevia, acesulfame potassium (ace-K) and cyclamate. The following sweeteners are a fundamental ingredient in diet drinks to sweeten them without adding calories:

Why use a minimum of 6% sugar? And what is Brix?

The Brix value tells you how much dissolved sugar is in a liquid solution. This value is indicated in degrees Brix. One degree of Brix means that a hundred grams of liquid solution contains one gram of sugar.
So, the higher the Brix value, the sweeter the liquid solution.
