Filling water tank
When is flashing, the water tank is in low water level and requires to be filled up.
- Lift the water tank using the lid as handle.
- Rinse the water tank with fresh water. Fill the tank to the max level and place it back into the machine. Make sure it is installed properly.


NOTE: To prevent overflowing from water tank, do not add water directly into the appliance.
IMPORTANT: Never fill the water tank with warm, hot, sparkling water or other liquids which may damage the water tank and machine.
Filling bean container
IMPORTANT: Fill the bean container with coffee beans only. Do not use green, grounded, instant, caramelized or candied coffee beans, or other objects, it may damage the machine.
When is flashing, the bean container is empty:
- Remove the bean container lid.

Adjust the grinder to your preferred grinding level (See grinding adjustment). Fill the bean container with coffee beans, and insert the lid.
Preparing espresso or lungo
- Switch on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button . Make sure the drip tray is correctly placed under the coffee spout, and that the water tank is full and correctly placed. The appliance will perform auto-rinsing for a small cup of water, you can stop it by pressing Quick Clean/Hot Water button
.
- The espresso machine is in standby mode.
- Place a cup under the coffee spout and adjust the height of spout to fit the cup by sliding it up or down. Depending on the cup size the drip tray can be removed or adjusted the position as below:
- Choose your coffee flavor by pressing Espresso or Lungo button.
- The coffee button being pressed will light up, brewing coffee indicator and illumination under spout will light up indicating that the appliance is preparing the cup of coffee.
- Preparation will stop automatically. If you want to stop dispensing coffee during operation, press the button again.
- When the appliance is back to standby condition, the coffee is ready.
TIP: Espresso button is with higher coffee intensity. Both coffee button volumes can be adjusted (see “Adjusting Coffee/Hot Water Volume”).
NOTE: Use Hot Water function to clean inside of the coffee maker before first use.
Preparing latte macchiato and cappuccino
- Install automatic milk froth system.
- Fill milk in the milk container and close the lid. NOTE: Always use cold milk (approximately 5°C/41°F) with a fat content of at least 3% to ensure an optimal frothing result.
- Switch on the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button. Make sure the drip tray is correctly placed under the coffee spout, and that the water tank is full and correctly placed. The appliance will perform auto-rinsing for a small cup of water, you can stop it by pressing Quick Clean/Hot Water button .
- Place a cup under the coffee spout. Press the Latte Macchiato button or the Cappuccino button . The button lights indicating coffee preparation. It will first dispense milk then coffee.
- Preparation will stop automatically. If you want to stop before, press the button again during the operation.
- Remove milk container from machine and put it in the fridge.
- After use, see “Cleaning and maintenance” to clean the automatic milk froth system and milk container.
WARNING: Steam and hot milk may spray out of the nozzle when starting to brew.
Place the connecting rubber hose around the container lid after use. Do not let it fall freely to prevent milk spraying out due to pressure difference.
Preparing hot water
- Place a cup under the coffee spout.
- Press Quick Clean/Hot Water twice. The button lights indicating the appliance is heating up water.
- Preparation will stop automatically. If you want to stop hot water during operation, press the button again.
Turning off the machine
Switch off the appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button.
Automatic shut-off
The appliance is equipped with auto shut-off. Depending on the mode you selected, the appliance will have different auto shut-off times (see “Mode Selection”).
